It's been a long time since I posted anything here, so since I don't want to clog up my main page, I'll write my excuses out here! As we know, I have not done a comic page since February! The truth is that I haven't drawn anything (doodles at most) since then. I'm having a bad block and for a while I was discouraged about my artwork too (am over the latter). Anyway, then I got lazy and then I got busy with school. I'm thinking a lot about the stories that I'm supposed to be working on though... I reworked the story for D&F and I'll probably get that rolling if I can ever draw again. Haha. I'm not sure what to do with Perihelion... That was my "serious project", but I think that I was really just using it to pass the time. Oops... Anyway. Nothing notable coming from me now, but I am trying again at least!

... but it is one. Put some art up under the Perihelion page. No new comic page this week (or last week for that matter), because I'm lazy. I've been working on another picture actually, since December has been buzzing around my head screeching "Draw ME! Draw ME!" ~_~;; Needless to say, he is in it. I can't believe it took me this long to draw though! I've been working on it for the last two weeks on and off. It's not that impressive for two weeks of work. I'm coloring it just now, but it'll be around eventually. School starts this week coming, so I'll probably go mental before I get back into things. (either that or I'll get very productive. hard to say.)

I should just change the update day to "completely random". Haha.

Perihelion update. Anyway, I have the usual list of excuses, especially since I drew the pages before Christmas. I haven't drawn in so long that I'm really rusty. Look at those profiles! They're awful! I'm getting there though. Slowly. I want Perihelion to be good. ^__^

I also have secret word from the underground that there is some drawing going on in the Ishiko area of the motherland. Ahhh, this is good news. (one of the drawings did escape... it's in my personal LJ)

Blah, blah, no update YET. I might get one up tomorrow, if I go finish drawing the page right now. Heheh. In other news, I got distracted because I remembered that D&F is on onlinecomics.net and... 18 people faved it. ;_; I'm feeling the love. (I'm serious. That actually does make me happy. And is it not great that "faved" is now somehow a word?) I guess I had a lot of self-loathing-no-one-reads-that-crap feelings before it exploded into oblivion, so it's good to know that at some point in life more than 2 people read it. Hah. In the (distant) future, I shall avenge it's death though. Somewhere in my head Cricket acquired brothers and they desperately need to be let out of the bag. ^__^

Anyway, my other news is that there may will be another new comic sprouting up on ze page to fill in the hole that Asphodel left. (allow me to giggle with joy for a while...) Ishiko is going to draw this one, which makes me very very happy! Yeah, so I'm really excited, so you better keep it up! And I want to see that character design!! *shakes fist* Hahahaaaaa, that reminds me, don't make this be like the original Asphodel sketches, where I had to chase you around the art room and then snatch them. ^_~

D&F "updated" with 6 pages, all of which address its current status. Doesn't that sound sinister?! Well, it's only half evil, I promise!

Haha! I'm back! I didn't have the internet for over a month and I still don't have my own computer hoooked up, so it's been a real task to get anything done. of course, even with all that free time, I only got 4 pages done... But whatever. They're colored!

There was no update last week. Oops! I was too busy have an emotional breakdown! (no, not really, I was just super super nervous about a lot of things and my stress level went through the roof) Anyway, I should have lots of time this week (but I AM lazy...), so I'll try to make up for it.

I updated AND on time this week. Not early OR late. *claps* I actually tried this week, so the pages are decent and complete. I've been reading a lot of Ai Yazawa stuff and that's always a big inspiration for me. (to make clothes... but then to draw things)

Timely update! I'm actually an hour ahead of Saturday. And 2 pages at that. Okay, so one is just an illustration, semi-lazily colored, but it counts. End of Chapter 2 as well.

Ishiko mentioned a few times working on Asphodel, so it might be in the far distant future, but we can be happy that someday, somewhere, it will come back. Or else be replaced by something else amazing. ^^

No real update this week. I started a page, but I was too busy chasing my sister's kids around ALL WEEK to get it done. I drew this picture of Francis to make up for it though. XD Sort of.
